LED灯带看起来只是低压附件,但12V系统只有很小的电压余量。远端发黄、变暗或RGB颜色不一致,常常不是驱动器坏了,而是馈线、接头和灯带铜箔的压降太大。

LED灯带是带有发光二极管和限流电路的柔性电路。压降是电流通过导体电阻后损失的电压。Class 2电路是由受限功率电源供电的低压电路。

北美项目要核对NEC 411低压照明、NEC 725 Class 2线路和NEC 110.3(B)厂家说明;IEC项目通常同时看SELV/PELV和本地敷设规则。

长灯槽、柜下灯和招牌不要把所有电流串在一条灯带铜箔上。分成多个并联回路、两端供电或把驱动器移近,通常比盲目加大电源更有效。

Class 2标识限制电源能量,但不会消除欧姆定律。20 AWG引线、快接夹和调光器端子仍然有额定电流和接触电阻。

Examples

48W的12V灯带电流为4A。若18 AWG铜线单程25 ft,回路电阻约0.319Ω,压降约1.28V,也就是10.6%。

相同48W负载改用24V时电流只有2A,同一条18 AWG线路压降约0.64V,即2.7%,视觉余量明显更好。

12V LED strip distance?

A 48W load at 12V draws 4A; on 18 AWG at 25 ft one way, drop is about 1.28V or 10.6%.

Why choose 24V?

For the same 48W, 24V uses 2A, so the same copper path drops about half the voltage percentage.

Which code sections matter?

Check NEC 411 for low-voltage lighting, NEC 725 for Class 2 circuits, and NEC 110.3(B) for listed instructions.

Can both ends be fed?

Yes when the strip manufacturer permits it and polarity is correct; it reduces current per path on long runs.

What target is reasonable?

Use 3% to 5% as a starting point, then tighten it if color or brightness uniformity is critical.
